Our experience is that it is your site that is the main determining factor in the design of the floorplan, we look at the environmental factors that will need to be considered in conjunction with your design input. The build process can be daunting, our task is to assist you through the process and to achieve a result you are delighted with.

Stuart Wilson
A BBS from Massey in business and 15 years involvement in the building industry means that Stu has a wide range of experience to call on. Keen on old motorbikes and a bit of hunting along with the odd weekend in the showhome and the odd job here and there keeps Stu out of trouble.
Abigail Hogarth
With a background in Sales for bathroom design consultancy and the plumbing trade. She combines technical expertise with a passion for design, offering clients tailored advice while overseeing contracts and specifications to ensure smooth project execution. Outside of work, Abi enjoys spending her time with her little boy and husband. As an avid baker, she often spends the weekend designing celebration cakes for her family and friends.
The Process
How does it work?

Visit the Office
Drop into the office or give us a call. Have a chat and get to know our team and what we can do for you. If you’ve got a site, we’ll come check it out. If you’re comfortable with us we can arrange a meeting to establish your key drivers for the build, what inspires you and what the priorities are. Budget is a consideration at this stage so we don’t go developing a concept which you can’t quite stretch to.
Estimate
Design your home & budget
Once we’ve got a brief, we’ll pull a concept/discussion document together and get you to drop in to
review. Once we’ve got that nailed down, we develop the elevations and details to provide you with an estimate to construct. It’s still early in the process but ultimately everyone has a budget and it’s important we keep this in mind and develop the plan accordingly.
We’ll be looking at the site in terms of covenants and planning rules in order to identify any issues which may trigger any resource consent application.
From time to time we’ll require a short form agreement and a deposit to be paid to cover either Geotech investigations and/or Engineering advice required on the site or proposed plan.
Acceptance
Acceptance of estimates / agreements
Once we’ve nailed down the estimate and it’s within the budget scope, we are in a position to sign off the agreement and specifications and get the working drawings completed.
Consent

We’ll arrange the building consent application and any straightforward resource consent application if required.
Build
Build Process
Ground works, floor, frames, roof, interior, finished. Getting underway, as the build progress develops, we will keep you informed of what is happening and making sure all decisions and final fit outs are followed up and confirmed.

Final code of compliance from the council, final sign off, hand over the keys and present to you your brand-new home.
